Hornets tops at Hurricane
BRYANT – Bryant sophomore Daniel Taylor led the way on Tuesday in nine holes at Hurricane Golf & Country Club, shooting a 1-under 35 to help the Hornets to a match win in Bryant.
The Hornets, which won their second match of the year, shot a 162, followed by Baptist Prep’s 173, with the Bryant junior varsity shooting a 201.
After Taylor’s under par score, junior Andrew Gaspard shot a 40, junior Logan Mcdonald a 41 and senior Ian Thrash a
46 to round out the 162. Sophomore Landon Wallace had a 47.
Junior PJ Hollingworth led the Bryant JV with a 45 and sophomore Braedon Boyce
shot a 48, with juniors Will Hanson and Jimmy Cerruti coming in with 54s.
With the Bryant girls not
fielding a full team, sophomore Caitlin Lacerra shot a 39, with senior Brooklyn Waller shooting a 50.
Bryant is back in action on Saturday, traveling to Conway for the Wampus Cat Invitational at 1 p.m.
