Salt Bowl or­ga­niz­ers out­line safety pro­ce­dures

For those at­tend­ing this Fri­day’s Salt Bowl at War Memo­rial Sta­dium, or­ga­niz­ers have re­leased a list of safety pro­ce­dures, in­clud­ing per­mit­ted and pro­hib­ited items.

Ap­proved bags al­lowed in the sta­dium in­clude clutch purses no larger than 4.5 inches-by-6.6 inches and clear tote bags made of plas­tic, vinyl or PVC no larger than 12 inch­esby-6 inches-by-12 inches.

Clear plas­tic stor­age bags no larger than gal­lon size are also al­lowed.

Ac­cord­ing to the Saline County Sher­iff’s Of­fice, bar­ri­cades will be set up in­side the sta­dium con­course that will pre­vent those at­tend­ing the game from go­ing from one

side of the sta­dium to the other. Ben­ton fans will en­ter on the home side, while Bryant fans will en­ter on the vis­i­tor’s side. Game­go­ers that en­ter on the wrong side of the sta­dium will not be al­lowed to re-en­ter with­out pur­chas­ing another ticket.

The list of items per­mit­ted into the sta­dium in­clude:

•Binoc­u­lars (no case). •Cam­eras (6” lens or less).

•Rain gear, blan­kets and coats.

•Sta­dium seats with­out arms or pock­ets.

•Wa­ter bot­tles (empty, clear, 20 oz or less). •Ser­vice dogs. •Elec­tronic tablets. •Med­i­cal items (bags will be in­spected).

Pro­hib­ited items in­clude:

•Weapons of any kind. •Cool­ers or ther­mal con­tain­ers.

•Selfie sticks. •Um­brel­las.

•Video cam­eras.

•Food or bev­er­ages. •Strollers or baby car­ri­ers.

•All to­bacco prod­ucts in­clud­ing e-cig­a­rettes.

•Drones or laser point­ers.

•Noise mak­ers. •In­flat­able balls or toys.

•Signs.
