Jack Spivey

Jack Spivey, 81, of Ben­ton, passed away Satur­day, Sept. 7. He was born Dec. 19, 1937, in Ha­vana, Arkansas. Jack was a mem­ber of First Bap­tist Church of Ben­ton. Af­ter his ser­vice with the U.S. Air Force, he re­tired from Al­coa.

Jack was pro­ceeded in death by his wife of 59 years, Sue Hobbs Spivey; his par­ents, James and Mae Spivey; a twin brother, Mack Spivey; and two sis­ters, Betty

Brown and Laquita Scott. He was also pro­ceeded by a spe­cial grand­son, Kyle Polk.

He is sur­vived by four chil­dren, Jackie Echols

(John), Rick Spivey (Su­san), Cindy Green

(Marty) and Sally Hin­kle. He is also sur­vived by seven grand­chil­dren Chad Parker, Crista

An­der­son, Stacey Brab­ham, Cameron Spivey,

Hunter Green, Chelsea Fitzhugh, Lan­don

Hin­kle; and his fur baby, Peanut.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tues­day, Sept. 10, at Ashby Fu­neral Home in Ben­ton.

There will be a pri­vate com­mit­tal ser­vice for fam­ily only Wed­nes­day, Sept. 11. Pas­tor Rick Grant will be of­fi­ci­at­ing the fu­neral ser­vice.

Pall­bear­ers will be Chad Parker, Cameron Spivey, Hunter Green, Lan­don Hin­kle, Isaac Paul and Coy Fitzhugh.
