Mal­ishia ‘Kaye’ Win­kler

Mal­ishia “Kaye” Win­kler, 68, of Alexan­der, went to be with the Lord on Wed­nes­day, Oct. 2, at Sa­line Memo­rial Hos­pice House. She was born Dec. 23, 1950, in Coos Bay, Ore­gon, to the late Vir­gil “V.O.” and Char­lene (Bryant) Mon­roe.

Kaye loved the Lord and was a mem­ber of New Be­gin­nings Apos­tolic Church. She re­ceived her col­lege de­gree and worked as a di­eti­cian. Her fam­ily was the most im­por­tant thing to her and she loved spoil­ing her grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren. Kaye was a “shopa­holic” and en­joyed shop­ping for clothes, shoes and purses. She liked be­ing the cen­ter of at­ten­tion and be­ing spoiled by oth­ers.

Kaye leaves be­hind to cher­ish her mem­ory her lov­ing hus­band of 51 years, Ron­nie Win­kler, of Alexan­der; three daugh­ters, Ronda Mcdon­ald, of Tulsa, Ok­la­homa, Yolanda Stan­ton and hus­band, Rob­bie, of Malvern, and Doll Dil­lon and hus­band, James, of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grand­daugh­ters, Tara Brown, Bri­anne Fin­ley, Abby Stan­ton, Brit­tany Sul­li­van and Lyn­d­sey Sul­li­van; four great-grand­chil­dren, Daw­son Mays, Gavin Mays,

Paislee Mays and Zeke Daw­son; four sis­ters, Pat Havard and hus­band, Billy, of Malvern, Brenda Grubbs and hus­band, Scott, of Baux­ite, Joyce Mon­roe, of Ben­ton, and Dian­nia Di­ci­cco, of Ben­ton; and many other fam­ily mem­bers and friends who loved Kaye and will miss her al­ways.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Fri­day, Oct. 4, at Smith-ben­ton Fu­neral Home.

Fu­neral ser­vice, of­fi­ci­ated by the Rev. Jim Whitley, will be held at 2 p.m. Satur­day, Oct. 5, at New Be­gin­nings Apos­tolic Church, lo­cated at 407 Pricket Rd. in Bryant.
