Bryant Board OKS personnel changes Monday
The Bryant School Board had a brief special meeting Monday. The only item on the agenda was personnel changes.
Approved changes include five resignations, two new teachers, five new food service workers and two contract adjustments.
Melissa Millwood, speech language pathologist and Donesia Steward, elementary teacher, are resigning from their positions effective Dec. 20.
Kristina Kidd, custodian, Teresa Squires, custodian, and Conni Valencia, special education paraprofessional, resigned from their posts last month.
Amanda Jones was hired for an elementary teacher position at Hurricane Creek Elementary School. Jones has a bachelor’s degree from Ua-little Rock.
Dawn Michele Neal was hired for an elementary teacher position at Hill Farm Elementary. Neal has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree from Harding University. Prior to teaching in Bryant, Neal was an elementary teacher for Charleston Public School.

Lane, Brittaney Leonard and Rey Naya were hired as food service workers.
Hollie Harris had an elementary archery stipend added to her contract and Tarah Hughes had the addition of a stipend for serving as the Bryant Middle School yearbook sponsor.
All meetings of the Bryant School Board are open to the public and attendance is encouraged.
The board will gather for a regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 21 at Bryant High School campus.
