Bon­nie Sue Solomon, 78, of Ben­ton, passed away Sun­day, Nov. 3. She was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Little Rock, to the late Archie Sr. and Jewell Cochran Smith. Bon­nie was a mem­ber of Trin­ity Bap­tist Church and re­tired in 1989 from South­west­ern Bell Tele­phone. She vol­un­teered for sev­eral or­ga­ni­za­tions, in­clud­ing Tele­com Pioneers Arkansas Chap­ter, Sa­line Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal Aux­il­iary, Ben­ton Se­nior Well­ness and Ac­tiv­ity Cen­ter and Shaw Vol­un­teer Fire De­part­ment.

Bon­nie was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; four broth­ers, Archie Smith Jr., Mor­ris Smith, Bobby Smith and Rus­sell Allen Long; and four sis­ters, Betty Wal­loch, Vir­ginia Heath­man, Marie Rogers and Clara Massey.

Bon­nie is sur­vived by her hus­band, Richard Solomon; a son, David (P.J.) Solomon; three daugh­ters, Ge­nie (Justin) Fox, Paula (Phillip) Crow and Stacy Solomon; eight grand­chil­dren; 12 great-grand­chil­dren; and a brother-in-law, Paul Heath­man.

Funeral ser­vice will be held at 10 a.m. Satur­day, Nov. 9, at Trin­ity Bap­tist Church, with Bro. Mike Titsworth officiatin­g. Burial will fol­low at Pinecrest Me­mo­rial Park.

Visi­ta­tion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Fri­day, Nov. 8, at Trin­ity Bap­tist Church.
