Bonnie Sue Solomon
Bonnie Sue Solomon, 78, of Benton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3. She was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Little Rock, to the late Archie Sr. and Jewell Cochran Smith. Bonnie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired in 1989 from Southwestern Bell Telephone. She volunteered for several organizations, including Telecom Pioneers Arkansas Chapter, Saline Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Benton Senior Wellness and Activity Center and Shaw Volunteer Fire Department.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Archie Smith Jr., Morris Smith, Bobby Smith and Russell Allen Long; and four sisters, Betty Walloch, Virginia Heathman, Marie Rogers and Clara Massey.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Richard Solomon; a son, David (P.J.) Solomon; three daughters, Genie (Justin) Fox, Paula (Phillip) Crow and Stacy Solomon; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Paul Heathman.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Trinity Baptist Church, with Bro. Mike Titsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Trinity Baptist Church.
