Benton schools announce personnel changes
The Benton School District announced a number of personnel changes Monday during its final meeting of the fall semester.
New hires announced include Holly Ramsey and Brooke Guilfoyle. Ramsey will serve as the new Benton Junior High School assistant secretary and Guilfoyle has been hired as a special education teacher. Start dates for both are still to be determined.
Four resignations were also announced.
Ginny Parker resigned her position as the BJHS secretary and Cody Rossell will step down from district maintenance. Caldwell Elementary teacher Jaclyn Williams also announced her resignation effective Dec. 20.
BJHS teacher and coach Jon George will leave his position at the end of the 2019-20 school year.
BJHS Assistant Secretary Monica Bailey will transfer to the position of general office secretary.
Temporary contracts were also announced.
Those hired for the Angie Grant Elementary after-school tutoring program include: •Chelsea Collins.
