Ear­lier this month, the Bryant School Dis­trict an­nounced that the Everett fam­ily made a do­na­tion to help with the cost of ar­ti­fi­cial turf on the out­door field along with re­plac­ing the turf in the Hor­net Field House. Dur­ing the fi­nal 2019 meet­ing, the Bryant School Board will dis­cuss this project. The meet­ing will take place at 5:30 p.m. to­day at the Pro­fes­sional De­vel­op­ment Cen­ter on the Bryant High School cam­pus.

Dis­trict ad­min­is­tra­tion has rec­om­mended that Lewis Ar­chi­tect and Engineers be hired to han­dle ar­chi­tec­tural ser­vices for the turf re­place­ment. Af­ter re­ceiv­ing four bids, ad­min­is­tra­tion is also rec­om­mend­ing a bid from Geo Sur­faces to re­place the turf at a cost of $720,000. The turf is set to be re­placed in the sum­mer of 2020.

Dur­ing the recog­ni­tion por­tion of the meet­ing, the board will rec­og­nize sev­eral stu­dents for their re­cent ac­com­plish­ments.

Other items on the agenda in­clude:

• A con­sent agenda in­clud­ing 25 pe­ti­tions for trans­fer.

•A con­tract for Lewis Ar­chi­tects to han­dle roof re­place­ments at Springhill Ele­men­tary School, Davis

Ele­men­tary School and Build­ing 8 at Bryant High School.

•The Novem­ber fi­nan­cial re­port.

•An expulsion rec­om­men­da­tion.

•Per­son­nel changes. All meet­ings of the board are open to the pub­lic and at­ten­dance is en­cour­aged.
