Anna Beth is a very intelligen­t, personable and active young lady. She participat­es in school and extracurri­cular activities and works part time as a manager. Throughout high school she has taken PRE-AP English (9,10); AP Language and Compositio­n (11); AP Literature (12); PREAP Biology (10); AP US History (11); College Algebra (11) and College World History I and II (12). Anna Beth passed both the AP Lang and AP US History exams in 19-20 earning College credit for both. She has 15 college credit hours at this time and will take the AP Lit exam in May. Extracurri­cular activities: Anna Beth has been nominated for Queen of Roses (9-11); She attended the HOBY youth leadership conference as an ambassador in 2019 and has been on the Honor Roll (9-12). She is very involved in clubs and activities including the following: Beta Club (9-12); Art Club (10-12); National Honor Society (10-12); CHAMPS (9-12; President 12); FCCLA (11-12); FCA; Spanish Club (10-12; President (10, 11, 12); Class officer (Public Relations Representa­tive (12) She is responsibl­e for helping to plan prom, design the senior shirt, decide the style of graduation invitation. Officers also assist with selecting choices for class song and motto for the class to vote on. As the public relations representa­tive she is the liaison between sponsors and officers to the student body. She has been involved with many volunteer organizati­ons such as CHAMPS Haunted House for the community (This year because of Covid they sponsored a drive-thru Trunk-ortreat

for the community); Spanish club sponsors Angel Tree and pictures with Santa for the elementary; has worked each event during high school. Outside of school she has worked with theimmanue­l Baptist Church youth group organizati­on sx3 doing community service in and around Sheridan, AR. They have worked at the nursing home, the women’s CASA shelter in Pine Bluff and tasks around the church. Anna Beth says her favorite week of summer is when she volunteers as a “staffer” at the Bogg Springs Kidz Kamp working with 2nd - 6th graders each year. In 2019, Anna Beth was hired as a “stylist” or associate at Maurice’s in Benton. She has gained time management skills, people skills and organizati­onal skills. She worked hard and was promoted to part-time manager. She is still employed at Maurices. After high school, she plans to attend Baylor University in Texas and major in Pre-med. Anna Beth is a very busy young lady and very determined to accomplish her goals.
