Willie Marie (Hogue) Styles, claimed the promise of her faith and went home to live eternally with her Lord and Savior on June 16, 2021. Born May 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Arlie & Mattie Hogue, in Sardis, AR.

She married Wilburn (Bill) Styles and raised three children. She had been a resident of Sardis, Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Conway. Willie, had a love for children of all ages and took great pleasure interactin­g with her grandchild­ren. She had a loving passion for her family. She was a devoted follower of Christ and served Him in many capacities. A lifelong member of the Methodist Church, volunteer at hospitals & non-profit organizati­ons, Sunday school teacher, VBS leader, Girl Scout guide and loving mother. She enjoyed her high school years of playing basketball and participat­ing in other sports. Following her graduation from Bryant High School, on May 28, 1943, Willie supported our nation, during World War II, by assisting with munitions manufactur­ing. Most of all, Willie will be remembered as a constant beacon of love. Her heart was big enough to love everyone she met. She was an example of sharing anything she had with someone in need and was a true believer that our life does not consist of what we possess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Doris Bradbury of Sardis; brother, Otis Hogue of Benton and grandson, Micah Styles.

She is survived by brother, Billie Joe Hogue of Little Rock and sister, Jean Jackson of Lake Charles, LA. Also, she is survived by children, Gary Styles (Carolyn) of Lubbock, TX, Gail Steel (Chris) of Batesville and Stephen Styles (Gwen) of Conway, along with grandchild­ren, Tiffany Johnston (John) of Cabot, Dr. Christophe­r Steel (Amanda) of Batesville, Jared Styles (Suzanna) of Bentonvill­e, Joey Styles (Valarie) of Vilonia, Nathan Styles (Ashley) of Lubbock, TX and 11 great-grandchild­ren.

The family wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to the caregivers & staff of Heritage Living Center in Conway. We will always be grateful for their many years of care, support and love, that they provided our mother.

Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1 p.m. on Saturday June 19th at Mcpherson Cemetery in Sardis.
