• St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1108 E. Hillsboro, will give food only each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Please place clothing only in blue containers in front of building. They do not accept furniture. • The Concerned Christian will give away free clothing from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1116 Junction City Road (next to ChickA-Dilly).
• Boomtown Toastmasters Club meets at noon each Wednesday in the HealthWorks Fitness Center Conference Room at 304 N. Madison Ave. The community is welcome. Bring your own lunch and learn to communicate more effectively through speeches, conversations and leadership roles.
• Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon for an open discussion at East Sixth and North Park Street.
• The Union County Retired Teachers Association meets the third Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. at Strong City Hall. This is a non-smoking meeting.
• El Dorado Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will have an open discussion at 7 p.m. at 1513 Champagnolle Road.

• Liberty Ministry Center will give out food from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at 901 S. Washington Ave.

• Marrable Hill Chapel Clothes Closet is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Free clothing and household items are available. Directions: Turn left off old Strong Highway onto Marrable Hill Road across from Sista, Sista, Sista Restaurant; take the fourth right at Marrable Hill Chapel entrance.
• The China Painters meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the third Thursday at the South Arkansas Arts Center.
