PAUL ELLIOTT

Paul Elliott, 76, of Bernice, La., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New Hopewell Baptist Church in Bernice.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Bernice under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home of Bernice.

ELMER GLOVER

Elmer Glover, 89, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at his residence.

Arrangements will be announced by Sims Mortuary.

Graveside services for James Victor Gulley, 53, of Calhoun County, and formerly of El Dorado, will be at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Lawson with Bro. Mark Day officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.

DEREK L. MISENHEIMER

Derek L. Misenheimer, 34, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.

He was born Feb. 3, 1980, in Craig, Colo. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church and the American Outlaws Soccer Organizations.

Derek was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Misenheimer.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Misenheimer; mother, Jeanette Misenheimer; four brothers, Jerry R. Misenheimer (Renee’), Gary W. Misenheimer (Kristi), all of El Dorado, Dallas R. Misenheimer (Julie) of Taylor, and Stacy W. Misenheimer (Brandy) of Hot Springs Village; sister, Sherry A. Pitts (Ben) of Bastrop, La.; three children, Caden Misenheimer, Lynlee Misenheimer and Pierce Rodgers; his cousin and best friend, Justin Misenheimer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the chapel of Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Pitts and the Rev. Gerald Perry officiating.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Jones, Troy Misenheimer, and Brett Misenheimer.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation, P.O. Drawer 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203-9984.

HELEN THURMAN

Helen Thurman, 60, of El Dorado, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in El Dorado with burial in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home of Bernice, La.
