Bauman-Atwell

Kimberly Lane Bauman and Jacob Spencer Atwell were united in marriage at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado with Bro. Keith Dodson officiatin­g.

The bride is the daughter of Joey and Kim Bauman, of El Dorado. She is the granddaugh­ter of Sherry Andrews and the late Buddy Andrews, and the late Jerry and Betty Bauman, all of El Dorado.

She is a 2008 graduate of El Dorado High School, a 2013 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and will graduate in May of 2016 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s degree in Adult/ Gerontolog­y Primary Care. She is employed as a registered nurse at St. Vincent North Emergency Room in North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Randy and Leah Atwell, of El Dorado, and is the grandson of Jim Atwell, of Hot Springs, Sylvia Henley and the late Ed Henley, of El Dorado, Charlotte Ritchie and the late Joe Ritchie, of Hampton, and Joe Moseley, of El Dorado.

He is a 2008 graduate of Parkers Chapel High School, a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor in Business Management, and was a member of the VT baseball team. He is employed as a freight sales representa­tive at C.H. Robinson in Little Rock.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, and wore an Essence of Australia, blush-colored gown with a sweetheart neckline and lace detail on the bodice. The bride’s dress was accessoriz­ed with a crystal bling belt, champagne shoes, and pear shaped crystal earrings. She carried a full bouquet of white roses, peonies, and berries. The bouquet included and pearl broach from her great-grandmothe­r.

Caroline Bauman, of Fayettevil­le, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid­s were Heather Bauman, of Conway, sister-in-law of the bride, Molly Tucker, of Arkadelphi­a, sister of the groom, Emily Poole, of Ruston, and Melissa Robbins, of Maumelle. They wore navy, kneelength dresses with a sweetheart neckline and carried a bouquet of white roses.

Randy Atwell, father of the groom, served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Bauman, of Conway, brother of the bride, Brent Tucker, of Arkadelphi­a, brother-inlaw of the groom, Dyllon Brownmille­r, of Little Rock, and Chase Roberts, of El Dorado.

Ushers were Grant Nutt, of Hampton, cousin of groom, and Jake Robbins, of Maumelle.

The flower girl was Ana Seymour, daughter of John David and Stephanie Seymour, of El Dorado. Honorary flower girl was Essie Tucker, niece of the groom.

The ring bearer was Henry Todd Bauman, of West Monroe, La., cousin of the bride.

Music was provided by Shay Kaldem, soloist, cousin of the bride, and Linda Barrett, organist. The bride’s parents hosted a reception following the wedding at The Granite Club.

The couple chose “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait as their first dance as husband and wife. The bride and her father danced to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland and the groom and his mother danced to “Don’t Blink” by Kenny Chesney.

The bride’s cake was a gold and white butter cream cake with gum paste peonies and the groom’s cake was strawberry with butter cream icing with the groom’s baseball team, Virginia Tech. After a honeymoon to The Sun Palace resort in Cancun, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
