Funeral for Markeisha General, 23, of El Dorado will be held at 11 a.m. today at Zion Watts Baptist Church of El Dorado. Burial will follow at Zion Watts Cemetery of El Dorado, under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home of Bernice, Louisiana.

ELLA HENDERSON

Ella Henderson, 49, of El Dorado, passed away on Feb. 28, 2017.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church in El Dorado. Interment will follow at Sandy Land Cemetery in Smackover, under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home in Bernice, Louisiana.

Rickey Dell Lumsey of El Dorado died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017.

SPEAKER RUSSELL

Services for Speaker Russell, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, at the Millard Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Farmervill­e, Louisiana, with the Rev. Stephen Dixon officiatin­g. Interment will follow at the Millard Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. today at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Farmervill­e.

NELDA J. SILLIMAN

Nelda Jean Silliman, 87, of El Dorado, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 at College Avenue Church of Christ, with a private burial for the family to follow.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Sunday.

Memorials may be made to College Avenue Church of Christ, Widows and Widowers Ministry, or the Prime-Timers, 1817 N. College, El Dorado, AR 71730; Children’s Home Inc., 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450; or to a children’s home of the donor’s choice.

Funeral for Robbie Lee Shipman Stephenson, 89, of Monticello, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel in Monticello with the Rev. Dennis Spence and the Rev. Keith Dodson officiatin­g. Burial will be in Lacey Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service today.

JOHN H. WILLETT SR. Visitation for John Henry Willett Sr. will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Rusty Pedigo officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Obituaries

BOBBY R. DANIELS SR. Bobby Ray Daniels Sr., also known by family and friends as “Uncle Bob,” was born June 8, 1960 to Idonia Marie Daniels and Fred Daniels. He departed this life on Feb. 25, 2017 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

At an early age, he united with Union Mission where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Bobby was a former employee of Ensco, and Milam Constructi­on. He loved music, family, and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Idonia Marie Daniels and Fred Daniels; two sisters, Leslie Marie Clay and Jannie Mae Jones; and two brothers, James Curley Daniels and Albert Grant.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary E. Daniels of El Dorado; four sons, Bobby Daniels Jr. (Sherika) of El Dorado, Donreka Clark of El Dorado,

Johnson (Brian) of Little Rock, Shakedaa Staples of El Dorado, Rakeba Daniels of El Dorado, Sharon Watts of El Dorado, Shaunika Black (James) of Pine Bluff, and Tameka Jackson of Little Rock; five brothers, Fredrick Daniels of El Dorado, J.W. Harper of Dallas, Joe Grant of Portland, Oregon, Willie Grant of Portland, and Will Brown of El Dorado; and three sisters, Mae Easter Foster of El Dorado, Celestine Daniels Wade of El Dorado, and Gertha Browning of Camden. He also leaves 20 grandchild­ren and one on the way; and two great-grandchild­ren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

Public visitation will be from noon to 4:30 p.m. today. The family will have visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. A celebratio­n of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 at St. James Baptist Church with Bishop George Calloway, eulogist.

JOHN A. JOHNSON

John A Johnson, 84 of Junction City, AR, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Johnson was born November 1, 1932 in Union County, AR to the union of Aaron Wilson Johnson and Fannie Mae Welch Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Waymon Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was the former owner and operator of Stateline Sandwich and Glass, and was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to garden. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Ruby Johnson, two brothers-in-law, Earl Fox and Eugene Fox, a sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Tarlton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, 12:00 noon until Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the Scotland Presbyteri­an Church, Junction City. Interment will be in the Scotland Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR
