Letter to the Editor

To The Editor:

I said all that (in letter to editor published Thursday, March 2) to say there needs to be a law where men look like men.

Now I’m one of the biggest sinners God ever created, but I have paid the price. Everything that goes around, comes around. I love my state and country and my city. El Dorado was formed when everybody came here to try and get rich during the Oil Boom — the smartest, toughest, meanest, wickedest people that you could find anywhere in the world.

I love El Dorado. I really don’t want to offend anyone. See I know that if they see the big picture and they pull their pants up, then they have two hands they’ve never had before. They’ll have two hands that they can work, play with their kids, and grow to be Godly men.

You know I’m a straight-forward kind of guy, but I’m also the biggest clown you’ve ever seen. Just ask any of my teachers that I ever had in school. But I had a hard life growing up. I appreciate it now, but I didn’t like it then.

I grew up on the streets of El Dorado and I found the Lord at a young age. I sometimes offend people. But I’d rather offend them now and they can thank me throughout eternity when we swim in the Crystal Sea, and fly like an eagle, and never feel pain or sadness again.

Yes, I’m talking about heaven. There is a life after this life. This live is only a vapor. Only a moment, only a few heartbeats and it’s over and once it’s over, it’s over!

I had a neighbor pass away that claimed to be an atheist and I pray to God that she wasn’t. A lot of people don’t have anything to pray about, don’t have anything to ask God about because a lot of people have it all. And I feel sorry for these people because you have to surrender all to get it all.

Once you surrender all you will have it all. Someday we are all going to die. Nobody has ever lived and stayed alive and we are going to wake up in the presence of God Almighty.

He will say, “Come hither or depart from me, I never knew you.” A lot of people claim to be Christians and a lot of preachers are preachers because they don’t want to work. They don’t like the hot sun or the cold weather and they don’t like to strain and have to WORK! You know who you are. You can fool all the people all the time, but you cannot fool God once. So, people quit playing your little mind games, look up from your phone, and get on you knees and ask God to come into your life because that is the most important decision you will ever make in this life.

That is actually why we are all here. It is actually a big test. We all have free will and I’m sure God is shaking his head throughout the thousands of years all of us ignorant people and somebody sees the Red Sea open up and then we have doubts about God. I don’t understand.

The Israelites wandered around for 40 years on a three-week journey. It blows my mind. The Lord swallowed up hundreds of them and they fell into the Earth when he got tired of their bull. See God is serious.

He seriously loves every one of us. We are all meant to be. All are meant to be. And everyone that you lost along the way, just remember they will be with you in eternity. All little children go to Heaven.

This pants thing — I’m not prejudiced against any race. In fact, the black man is the toughest race on Earth. They can enter a sport and it’s not long until they take over because they are bad to the bone. They’ve had to endure a whole lot. I remember when they really didn’t have any rights. And if I was a black man, I would have been a member of the NAACP. This is not a racial thing.

Like I said in the first letter I sent out. I had a lady I loved with all my heart, she was the most spirit-filled lady. I have been fortunate to have spirit-filled giants to guide me along the way. And I’ve needed guidance a lot. Mr. Harold Grimmett was the most manly man, the most Godly man I have ever known. This man went through his whole life living for God. He was the man that had the Christian broadcast for over 40 years. He is now leading the choir in Heaven.

Also, another lady, Ms. Nina Sutherlin. She was the wisest lady i’ve ever known. She has been my adviser for many years. I don’t know how she put up with me but she did. Every time I would talk to her I would be renewed. She would always tell me to fast and pray.

And folks, we all need to stop what we’re doing and fast and pray. Fasting is giving up all the junk you cram into your body.

America used to be the greatest country in the world. We are now down there almost last of the civilized nations.

We need to tighten up, America, because someday we will all have to answer to him. And may God bless America.
