Arkansas Women in Agriculture Conference March 14-15
NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Farmers, ranchers, landowners and others from across the state will gather March 14-15 at the Wyndham Riverfront in North Little Rock for the Arkansas Women in Agriculture Conference. Registration for attendees and vendors is available at arwomeninag.org.
Barrel racer and inspirational speaker, Amberley Snyder will join us for the keynote address during lunch on Wednesday, March 15. Amberley, who fought her way back from tragedy, is inspiring thousands across America by sharing her story and competing in rodeos in the western United States. Her challenges have refined rather than defined her. Former Annie’s project workshop attendees will share their stories during Tuesday’s keynote luncheon address.
“The conference is a great way of learning new farm tools and management techniques along with networking and building valuable relationships with other landowners, farmers and ranchers throughout the state,” said Monica Paskewitz, Conference Chair, Arkansas Women in Ag.
Three tracts of sessions will be offered this year. Conference sessions include topics such as: Business Organization Options, Canning 101, Apps for Farming, Landowner Liability, Estate Planning, How to Survive Low Cattle Prices, and Marketing
Update.
In addition to the conference sessions, vendors will be on hand to provide valuable educational information to attendees as well as offering some shopping opportunities.
