My favorite items from the home section of Dollar Tree

I’ve already told you about my favorite cleaning products from Dollar Tree, but my obsession with the store doesn’t end there.

I also love their home section.

They have a huge selection of items that can add some homey touches to any house.

Here are seven of my favorite home décor items that you can find at

Dollar Tree.

Ceramic dishes

One of my favorite things that I love about Dollar Tree is their selection of ceramics. These plates are great quality and you have a huge color selection to choose from.

They are also affordable. If you go to Walmart and buy a dish set, you will pay $20 for a 12-piece set.

Dollar Tree also puts out sets for the different seasons. Since they are so cheap, I am able to have a special set that I put out for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Glassware

I also find the glassware selection to be wonderful. They have glasses in several colors and styles.

I like to get my wine glasses there — they look like I spent a lot of money on them, but in all truth, I only spent one dollar.

They also have a lot of novelty glasses that would make wonderful party favors or gifts.

Candles

When you think of things to buy at Dollar Tree, most people don’t even think about their candles.

You would assume that they would not have much scent, but they actually smell really great. They are perfect for gift baskets, your night stand or to put at your desk at work.

The candle section is normally well stocked and the store usually has anything anyone would like.

Pot Holders

If you are anything like me, I love to decorate for the seasons. One of the ways I do that is by using seasonal potholders and tea towels and I display them around my kitchen.

Because they are something that I change out seasonally, I like to get them as cheaply as possible.

Dollar Tree normally has two or three patterns every year. If they get stained, it’s no big deal because I can get new ones next year.

Storage bins

One home item that Dollar Tree is known for are storage bins.

They put new colors out every season and they have different sizes and shapes for anything that you can use.

I find that this is a great, cheap way to organize different areas in your house.

I like using the large flat bins to organize my spice cabinet, where I can pull the bin out, choose the spice I want to use and slide the bin back in.

Wall Decals

The wall decals that are offered at Dollar Tree are out of this world for their price alone.

A lot of DIY-ers will take these wall decals and put them over painted boards or plaques to make wall art with them.

When I was pregnant with my son, my husband and I decided to have a monster theme in my son’s nursery.

I was so excited to find monster decals that I placed on the walls surrounding his crib. These decals have a lot of child-specific choices. I think they are great for decorating your child’s room.

Wall Art

One thing that drives me insane is having blank walls. If you ever come into my house, my walls are covered in wall art from Dollar Tree.

They put them out at the beginning of each season and they have a wide variety to choose from.

I find these to be great accent pieces for my family pictures and a great way to fill up small blank spaces on my walls.

Little touches can take a house and turn it into a home. These items are how I have turned my house into a home, all while staying on a penny pincher’s budget.
