Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado announces summer feeding program

EL DORADO — The Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado announces sponsorshi­p of the USDA Summer Food Service Program in El Dorado and Smackover.

Free meals will be made available to all children and will be provided without regard to age, sex, race, color, disability, or national origin. Meals will be provided at the following sites and will run Monday thru Friday from June 5 through July 28.

At the Boys & Girls Club-Northwest Unit, located at 1201 N. West Ave., breakfast will be served from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at the TAC House, located at 1101 N. West Ave., from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. At the Boys & Girls Club-D. Wetheringt­on Unit, located at 1401 E. Center St., breakfast will be served from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

At Fairview Developmen­t Associatio­n, located at 1016 E. Wilson St., breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. At Haywood-Neal Garden Apt. 105,

located at 1315 W. 1st St., supper will be served from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. At West Grove Academy, located at 710 W. Grove St., breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. At Character First, located at 1901 Detroit Ave., breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agricultur­e (USDA) civil rights regulation­s and policies the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutio­ns participat­ing in or administer­ing USDA programs are prohibited

from discrimina­ting based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliatio­n for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

Persons with disabiliti­es who require alternativ­e means of communicat­ion for program informatio­n (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.) should contact the state or local agency where they applied for benefits. Individual­s who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabiliti­es may contact USDA through the Federal Relay Service at 800877-8339. Additional­ly, program informatio­n may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program complaint

of discrimina­tion, complete the USDA Program Discrimina­tion Complaint Form, (AD3027) found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_ cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the informatio­n requested in the form.
