Chamber sets Administrative Professionals luncheon The El Dorado/Union County Chamber of Commerce will host an Administrative Professionals Appreciation luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in the El Dorado Conference Center. The Administrative Professional of the Year will be honored. Tickets are $18 each or $125 for a table of eight. RSVP by April 24. • St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1308 E. Hillsboro, will give away clothing only from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. • Boomtown Toastmasters Club meets at noon each Wednesday at Murphy USA, 422 N. Washington. The community is welcome. Bring your own lunch and learn to communicate more effectively through speeches, conversations and leadership roles.

• Open Door Recovery Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon for an open discussion at East Sixth and North Park Street.

• Narcotics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. at Strong City Hall. Everyone needing assistance is welcome. This is a non-smoking meeting.

• The El Dorado Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at 100 Hargett.

Lions Club Golf membership drive

The Lions Club Golf Course is holding a membership drive through May 31. Yearly memberships are 10 percent off for regular and senior green fees. A Friday Special is also being offered. For more information, call 870-639-3916.
