The Homecoming Assembly will begin at approximat­ely 1:35 p.m. in the El Dorado High School Arena. Line-up for the homecoming parade will be from 2 to 3:15 pm at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium with the parade beginning at 3:45 p.m.

Fall Fest at Arkansas Museum of Natural

Resources

Place: Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources Date: 4 p.m. Saturday More informatio­n: Admission will be $5 children, $3 adults. Come see the museum during the 1920s when south Arkansas was hustling and bustling with the activities of the oil boom and Halloween was a huge sensation. Community parties and parades were planned and the tradition of “Trick-or-Treating” became popular. Festival goers to the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources will play some of the same games as were played during the by-gone era. There will be carnival games with prizes and several activities with take home materials. Participan­ts are encouraged to dress up.
