Billy Gene Noble, 87, of El Dorado passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born February 23, 1930 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of John Riley and Emma Jean Kight Noble. Mr. Noble was a landscape architect with Miller Nursery and Garden Shop for many years. He had later been employed by James Davison, being in charge of landscapin­g at Squire Creek Country Club near

Ruston, LA. Bill was a member of First

United Methodist Church of El Dorado.

Preceding him in death along with his parents was his wife of 67 years, Mary

Sue Noble along with a brother John

Dawson Noble and a sister Emma Lee

Byrd.

Survivors include a son, Dr. John

Michael Noble (Sharon) of Kent Island,

MD and daughters, Bonnie Haynie (Lee) and Susan Foster (Bill) all of El Dorado. Also surviving are grandchild­ren, Blake Noble, Michael Noble, Patrick Haynie (Courtney), Kevin Haynie (Anna Vernon), Rosemary Short (Luke), Katie Wood (Mitchell), and Miller Foster (Tyler) along with great-grandchild­ren, Natalie Haynie, Nora Haynie, Wes Short, Gracelin Chavers, Cora Wood and Nellie Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Dodson officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, December 4, 2017 at Young’s.

The Noble family wishes to thank Timberlane Health & Rehabilita­tion for the care, love and compassion shown to them and Bill during his stay there.
