Reminder of Services

BILLY HARTSFIELD Funeral for Billy Hartsfield, 77, of Fayettevil­le will be held at 10 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Wilson officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice, 325 E. Longview St., Fayettevil­le, AR 71703.

GEORGE C. MURPHY Visitation for George C. Murphy will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. today at Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church. A memorial for close friends and relatives will follow at 2 p.m.

Donations to the Veterans Administra­tion may be made in lieu of flowers.

CLARA A. HARDY

Clara Ann Hardy, 60, of El Dorado, passed away on Dec. 11, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Junction City, Louisiana on Sept. 12, 1957 to Ode and Fedoshia Hardy.

She was a member of New Hope C.M.E Church. She was a former employee of Junction School District and attended SADCCF Adult Center in El Dorado.

She is survived by three sisters, Nasrell Hughley of Middletow, Ohio, Oriel Hardy of El Dorado, and Ruthel Hardy Thomas of Haynesvill­e, Louisiana; two brothers, Charles Hardy of El Dorado, and Marcus Hardy of Monroe, Louisiana.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at New Hope C.M.E. Church in Junction City, with the Rev. Jimmy George, eulogist and the Rev. Jimmy George, funeral orator.

JERRY A. EVERS

Jerry A. Evers, 80, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

He was born Nov. 23, 1937, to Barney and Hazel Dumas Evers in Smackover.

He was pastor of Shepherd Fold Primitive

Baptist Church in Houston, Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in El Dorado, Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Ben Wheeler, and Whitewater Primitive

Baptist Church in Tinsman; a geophysist for Houston Exploratio­n, and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Linda Spicer Evers; and two brothers, Raymond and Bobby Evers.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy Roby (Stan) of Houston, Texas, and Donna Reeves (Roland) of El Dorado; grandchild­ren, Jennifer Katzianer (Bill), Bryan Roby (Veronica), Zack Jones (Teresa), Matt Jones (Amber), Tish Hollis (Quinton), and Roman Reeves (Amanda); great-grandchild­ren, Shawn Roby, Ben Roby, Justin Katzianer, Lewis Findley Jr., Derrick Findley, Walker Findley, Blake Hollis, Kaden Hollis, Canyen Hollis, Reagan Reeves, Peyton Reeves, Daniel Jones, and Lupita Jones; and great-great-granddaugh­ter, Emma Findley.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Young’s.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 278 O’Rear Road, El Dorado, with Elder C.C. Morris officiatin­g.

TONY C. WILLIAMS

Tony Curtis Williams, 64, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1953 in Bernice, Louisiana. He was the son of T.C. Williams and Jessie Vator Matthews Williams.

He retired from AT&T as a service technician.

He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind two sons, Tobias Williams of Forney, Texas, and

Trevor Williams of Mesquite, Texas; two daughters, Lakeshia

Hall of Arlington, Texas, and Tristen Williams of Forney; three sisters, Arma Boyd of Decatur, Georgia, and Jessie Varnado and Linda Abdul-Azeez, both of Conyers, Georgia; five grandchild­ren and two great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at New Bethel Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.

Public viewing will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Andrews Chapel.
