Legal Notice ORDINANCE NO. 1474

BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT OF THE COUNTY OF UNION, STATE OF ARKANSAS; AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS”. SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $31,543.00 from unappropriated County General Funds to Fund 1000 - Department 0108 (Public Buildings) - Line 3010 (Building and Improvements).

SECTION 2. This is Arkansas Historic Preservation Grant money. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and effect from and after its passage.

El Dorado, AR 71730 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CLASS II SALT WATER DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT Shamrock Well Operations, LLC

Ft. Smith, Arkansas 72901 has applied to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission for a permit to dispose of produced salt water by well injection into a formation that is not known to be productive of oil or gas.

The applicant proposes to dispose of salt water into the Meakin Formation at a depth of 2550 feet to 2632 feet in the Arco-Exxon Well No. 1 Located in the SW/4 of the SW/4 Section 7 Township 18S Range 13W in Hillsboro Field, Union County, Arkansas.

Requests for public hearing from persons who can show they are adversely affected or request for information concerning this application should be submitted in writing within 15 days of this publication to the Manager of Underground Injection control, Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission, P.O. Box 11510, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.
