P.U.S.H. Ministry: Mother’s Day Celebratio­n to be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, at the church. The theme is, “A Mother’s Love”. Minister Earlene Burns will deliver the message. The public is invited to attend.

Christ Missionary Baptist Church: Annual Women’s Day will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, at the church, 1628 E. Cook St., El Dorado. Guest Evangelist will be Minister Audrea Johnson of Traveler’s Rest Baptist Church in Grady. Theme is, “A Woman’s Work is Never Done” Proverbs 31:15-16. Robert K. Cunningham, pastor.

The Salvation Army: 2018 Revival featuring David Ravenhill and Cliff Preston will be held May 25 through May 27, at the Salvation Army, 419 South Madison. Beginning at 6:50 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, and at 11 a.m. for the closing service on Sunday. For more informatio­n please call 870863-4830.

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church: Mother’s Day Program will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, at the church. Associatin­g Pastor Rev. Ralph Hinson. Guest speaker will be Shanon Rogers and Taunisha Baker. We ask you wear “red” for mothers living, and “white” for mothers deceased. All churches are invited to attend.

New Life Deliveranc­e & Worship Center: A special Women Day/ Mother’s Day service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, at the church, 8388 Hwy. 167 South, El Dorado. The guest speaker will be Evangelist Ruby K. Waller. Everyone is invited to worship with us.

New Providence Baptist Church of Norphlet: Will celebrate our Annual Women’s Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, at the church. Sis. Shaneil “P.J.” Yarbrough will be the speaker, and a full breakfast will be served. The Mission Department will celebrate their Annual Women’s Day at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, at the church. Sis. Carolyn Jenkins will be the morning speaker. Lunch will be served after morning worship. The Rev. Rudolph Stennis Jr. is the pastor. Everyone is invited to attend. Also, our Veteran’s Memorial Day celebratio­n will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, at the church. This celebratio­n was started five years ago in effort to pay homage to those who have fought and continue to fight for these United States of America. While many lives were taken by war, many lives are still plagued by the demons of mental illness, PTSD and drug addiction, just to name a few. Our veterans and POW’s are often overlooked or forgotten, but we owe them a gratitude of thanks for the fight they’ve fought, for us, so we can enjoy the freedom we have today.

Moro Bay Baptist Church: The Second Saturday Night Singing will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the church. There will be a meal served at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
