Reminder of Services JEREMY W. EADES
Jeremy Wade Eades, 37 of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Young’s Chapel with Kent Jobe and Dr. Sterling Claypoole officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until service time. Interment with military honors will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors of El Dorado. Funeral services for Darrishica Benet’ Rodgers are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Church of Love in El Dorado. Interment will be held in Batts Chapel Cemetery in Huttig, AR. Reddick Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
JAMES E. WRIGHT
Funeral service for Rev. James E. Wright, 78 of Calion will be held today at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Hampton. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery, Lillie, Louisiana.

Michael Edwards was born September 1, 1998 in Rockford, IL. to Latasha Hinton and Michael Edwards Sr.
He was a 2017 graduate of Smackover High School where he participated in basketball, football, and track. He attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock and was employed with S&W Well
Service.
He is survived by his parents, Latasha Hinton of Smackover and Michael
Edwards Sr., of Rockford IL; son, Khylan Isaiah Edwards; grandmother, Barbara Mcadoo of Smackover; aunt, Linda Hinton of Smackover; brothers, Antonio Burks, Ja’von Modica, Jaqueze Modica and KJ King all of Smackover; sisters, Kionna Burks of Smackover, Kiera Burks of Atlanta, GA and Decimika Simmons of Peoria, IL; nieces, Ne’Vaeh Burks and Mackenzie Burks of Eldorado; a special first cousin, Devarious Bell El Dorado; a nephew, Jaston Burks of Camden.
Public visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. and the family hour from 6 – 7 p.m. Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Smackover Auditorium. Interment at Sweet Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. ALTON “POPS” MASSEY
Alton “Pops” Massey, 82, of El Dorado, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR.
Alton was born November 20, 1935 in Jonesboro, AR to the union of Ernest Massey and Ora Johnson Massey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother, a daughter, a great granddaughter and a sonin-law.
Alton retired after 19 years service with Texas
Eastern, and was a member of the Gethsemane
Baptist Church. He was an avid reader, loved doing puzzle books and was a
Dallas Cowboy Fan. Alton will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Ruth Massey, three daughters, Holly Hallett, Barbara Shively and husband Jim, and Lisa Hudson and husband Keith, one son, Mark Massey and wife Clyda, son-in-law, Terry L Darden, two brothers, Jimmy Massey and wife Shirley, and Elwood Massey and wife Carolyn, fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and his special K-9 baby, Angel
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado, with Rev. Bob Inmon and Bro. Terry Micheal Darden officiating. Interment will be in the Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
Pallbearers will be, Brandon Darden, Jessie Kemper, Christopher King, Paul Burns, Lane Kelley, Patrick Johnson, Chandler King, and Ryan Sausbury.
