Letter to the Editor

El Dorado News-Times - - Viewpoint -

Dear Editor,

I’m writing this letter to you with a few questions. #1. What does the symbol of the eagle stand for with his wings spread out so? #2 the flag that hangs so high and and wave so proudly as the wind blows against it? #3 what if the eagle had only one wing? #4 what if the flag were torn in half. I guess the eagle couldn’t fly high or soar as it should. The torn flag wouldn’t have a proud look, nor would it be admirable. The division that I see in the White House symbolizes an eagle with a broken wing. The nastiness shown between the two parties represent a torn flag. It has become a divided nation and I pray this nation will come together and get the job done by the people and for the people.
