West Side sweeps on the road

CON­WAY - West Side Chris­tian’s bas­ket­ball teams recorded a sweep in non-con­fer­ence play Fri­day against Faulkner County.

The Lady Warriors (113) used a bal­anced at­tack to top the Lady Fal­cons.

Lauren Land had 23 points to lead the vis­i­tors, while Rylee Scriber chipped in with 12 points.

Han­nah Miller and Daisy Tabe had eight points apiece.

In the boys game, the Warriors got a solid con­tri­bu­tion from two fresh­men and a big night from Steph­fan Tabe to pick up a win.

Tabe had 37 points for the Warriors (15-3), but fresh­man Spencer McNabb drilled six 3-point­ers en route to scor­ing 20 points in the win.

Fel­low fresh­man Anderson Col­ley was

also in dou­ble fig­ures with 12 points.

In the ju­nior girls game, West Side Chris­tian was downed 27-18.

Tabe had 10 points for the Lady Warriors (3-6).

In the ju­nior boys game, the Warriors fell 59-32.

Col­ley had 10 points and McNabb fin­ished with nine points for West Side Chris­tian (4-6).
