Smackover advances at district tournament

AMITY - Smackover's girls basketball team kept their season alive by knocking off Genoa Central 47-31 in the opening round of the 7-3A District Tournament on Monday.

Adrianna Grant had 16 points and Camree Jones chipped in with 10 points for the Lady Bucks (1116), who face Fouke at 4 p.m. today for a spot in next week's regional tournament.
