Illusionist Jonathan Erlandson Coming To MAD

World class magician and mentalist to perform

-

The Murphy Arts District is excited to announce a performance by Jonathan Erlandson, world class magician and mentalist who has performed for audiences all over the world.

Are you ready for some magic?

Erlandson first became interested in magic at the age of six, while living in California and watching a popular TV show about magic. Now he calls Little Rock home, making residence at the Maxwell Blade Theatre of Magic, where he is the featured “Close Up Show” performer.

Erlandson is a founding member of the vaudevillestyle troop The Marvelous Misfits and is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Erlandson is one of the freshest magicians to combine ‘close up magic’ with ‘mentalism,’ creating one of the most unique magics acts in the world today. His performance has been called ‘psychological illusions’ — but the audience will have to be the judge of that.

No matter the venue — theaters, universities, events worldwide — Erlandson’s show continues winning audiences night after night.

Erlandson will perform on the Griffin Restaurant cabaret stage in the Murphy Arts District on Friday,

August 16 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the event will be available for purchase by MAD members on Monday, July 15; they will become available for the general public on July 17 at 10 a.m. Tickets cost $25 for reserved seating and $15 for general admission seating, with prices increasing by $5 on the day of the show.

Tickets may be purchased at eldomad.com; the MAD box office at 101 E. Locust, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; or via toll-free phone at 877-940-3334. Ticket details and other information can be found at eldomad.com.
