Anniversar­y

Donald Ray and Deborah McGaugh of El Dorado, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversar­y Saturday, August 17. They were married at the First Assembly of God Church in El Dorado on August 17, 1969 by the late Reverend Kenneth Turner.

Mrs. McGaugh is the daughter of the late Clifton Hubert Davis, SR of Texas and the late Oma Ruth Holley Davis of El Dorado.

Mr. McGaugh is the son of the late Olen Donald “Bo” McGaugh of El Dorado and Myrtle Delona McGaugh of Magnolia.

They are the parents of two sons Matthew (Angie) McGaugh of Simsboro, Louisiana and Benjamin (Lori) McGaugh of Helena, Montana and one daughter Melinda (Steven) McGaugh Aaron of Roanoke, Texas.

They are proud and blessed grandparen­ts of nine grandchild­ren: Conner, Kaitlin, Brayden, Madelin, Ashton, Landon, Kathryn, Kaydence, and Lillie.

Mr. McGaugh is a gradate of Southern State College of Magnolia with a BS in Accounting. He worked many years as an accountant and recently retired after ten years as the Fiscal Officer of Families & Children Together, Inc. (FACT, Inc).

Mrs. McGaugh continues to work as Cashier and customer service at El Dorado Water Utilities for the City of El Dorado.

Mr. and Mrs. McGaugh celebrated their anniversar­y at Devils Den State Park in Winslow, Arkansas, where they spent their honeymoon 50 years ago. They are planning an extended celebratio­n next month as they cruise down the Upper Portion of the River Boat, “The Queen of Mississipp­i River on the the Mississipp­i”.
