Campus Updates
JUNCTION CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
JCSD has made sweeping changes in curriculum and delivery to add rigor and add greater differentiation to lessons.
• ELA Guidebooks are designed for whole group and small group instruction. A curriculum designed by practicing teachers, Guidebooks are designed to teach students to read for greater understanding and then express this understanding though a variety of assessments.
• Eureka Math Series was implemented in K-12. This curriculum guarantees scope and sequence alignment when implemented with fidelity. This series gives students an opportunity to master complex concepts through whole group instruction, real world group problem solving, and the use of manipulatives.
• ACT Work Keys is a program available to juniors and seniors to access their college and career readiness.
• Distance Learning allows JCSD to offer a wide range of courses digitally.
• JCSD continues to offer almost any Advanced Placement course through on-site instruction, blended learning, and digital learning.
• We continue to offer myriad online supplemental academic programs that provide access while at school and at home.
• We have dual enrollment opportunities with several local colleges and universities.
