BOBBY G. TUBBS
Bobby G. Tubbs, 81, of El Dorado passed away Sunday, May 24 at the Life Touch Hospice House.
Arrangements for funeral service will be announced by Sims Mortuary, Inc.

DOYCE L. BRIDGES
Doyce L. Bridges, 72, of Parkers Chapel, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR, with his family by his side. Doyce was born on December 22, 1947 in Union County to the late Ruby Noel Fitzgerald Bridges and Harvey Carson Bridges.
He was a 1966 graduate of Parkers Chapel High School, and was a member of Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church.
Doyce retired from Cooper Standard Automotive Company in 2004 after 30 years of service in the Quality
Assurance Department. It was there where he made many lifelong friends. Doyce returned back to work at
Parker’s Chapel School in 2005 as the maintenance man but we all know it was to be able to keep a close eye on his 3 precious grandchildren. After 10 years of service, he retired once again.
He enjoyed working in his yard, playing dominoes, his daily McDonalds trips, fishing, and anything his grandchildren were involved in he was always there cheering them on.
Out of all of his accomplishments he was most honored to be called “Papa”
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 51 years, JoAnn Bridges; three brothers, Lamar Bridges, Ronald Bruce “R.B.” Bridges and Waymond Bridges, and an infant Sister.
Survivors include; one daughter, Melissa Henley; one son, Kevin Bridges and wife Morgan; two granddaughters, Lauren Alyse Brumley and Ali Nikkole Brumley; one grandson, Grant Michael Brumley all of Parkers Chapel; four brothers, Maurice Bridges of Florida, Milton Bridges, Royce Bridges and Kenny Ray Bridges all of Parkers Chapel.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Larry Hudson officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
