Boomtown Opry today
The Boomtown Opry is back today with their annual Hometown Show featuring artists from the El Dorado area. This month’s performers include Steve Harrell, Brandon Gabbert, Rick Jones, Zach Abbott, Leslie Word, Mason Halstead and Southern Koast.
The concert will be held at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $15 and children six to 12 years old will be admitted for $5. Children five and under will be admitted free of charge.
Attendees will be required to wear masks upon entering the building and are allowed to remove the face coverings once they are seated. Masks will be provided for those who don’t have one.

SAAC’s “The Audition” streaming
The South Arkansas Arts Center’s Teen Drama Club production of “The Audition” is streaming now on saac-arts.org. The play is free to watch, though donations are welcome.
Super Soul Saturday today
Super Soul Saturday, originally scheduled for July 5, will be held today at The Good Times Backyard Plaza at 1814 Junction City Road. Featured artists include Kenne Wayne, Adrian Bagher, Coldrank and Luster Baker, all of whom are a part of the Louisiana Soul Brothers collective.
Gates open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the gate for $25 and VIP tickets are available for $50. Tickets may be purchased at Mr. Mike’s Music and Artwork in El Dorado, Special Touch in Camden and LBK’s in Farmerville, Louisiana.
Concert-goers must wear face masks to enter and practice social distancing. Groups may sit together but they must be at least 6 feet away from other groups and individuals. Face masks may be removed while audience members are seated but they must put the masks back on when going to the restroom or to a vendor. Audience members are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and coolers.
