Curt Carl Margis, Jr., age 80, of El Dorado passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. Arrangemen­ts will be announced on a later date under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

ASHLEY MARIE GLOVER BELL

Ashley Marie Glover Bell was born June 7, 1993, in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Jawannia Bell and the late James Glover. Ashley departed this life early Saturday morning, November 21, 2020, at UAMS Little Rock, AR.

She accepted Christ at an early age with Union Mission Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. Ashley attended El Dorado High School. Following school, she took up the art of doing hair. She had many hobbies; some of them included many DYI crafts, her love for children, spending time with family and friends, and helping others.

Preceding her in death are her father, James Glover, her Grandparen­ts Clarence Bradfield II, and Louise Glover.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter Jamya Dismuke. Her Mother, Jawannia Bell. A Special friend Jarmarvis Dismuke. Her Grandmothe­rs Celestine Daniels, and April Primous, Grandfathe­r, Clifford Meeks. Two sisters, La-Mya Harris and Janeisha Glover. Two Brothers, James Glover Jr. and Tatray Glover, and a host of close friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

MARY ALICE CROSS

Mary Alice Cross, 93, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1927 to Henry Adrian and Serena Erma Hall Goodwin in El Dorado, AR.

She began her education at Warner Brown School of Nursing and later earned her LPN degree at Vo-Tech. She worked for Dr. Berry Moore, Jr. for 44 years.

Mary was a life-long member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, but was unable to attend in the past few years due to health issues.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband of 52 years, Jack Walter Cross; siblings, Florian Goodwin (Child), Barry Lan Goodwin (Infant), Juanita Smith, Bobbie Arnold, Ann Steinsiek Morton, Connie Lee; and Larry Dan Goodwin, Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Williams (Roger), Cissi Cross, Jackye Swilley (Randy); son, William “Bud” Cross (Sherry); grandchild­ren, Marty Leach (Angel), Shane Leach, Yancy Leach (Leslie), Lacye Swilley Russell (Matt), Will Cross, Angel Jerry Smith (Steven), Kimber Jerry-Canada (Carrie Canada-Jerry), 16 great grandchild­ren; 7 great, great grandchild­ren; brother, Ronnie Dean Goodwin (Pauline); and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Diane Lovett, Sandra Faison, Angela Nute, Rita Benton, Mary Henderson, and Missy Tucker for the care they gave.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Young’s.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Dr. J.D. Weido and Bro. Cody Smith officiatin­g.

In keeping with the CDC regulation­s, masks must be worn and social distance will be practiced.
