County Fair begins today

The Union County Fair will begin today. The livestock barn will open at 8 a.m. Poultry exhibits will be judged at 9 a.m., followed by home economics project judging at 1 p.m. Beef showing begins at 6 p.m., followed by swine exhibition after beef judging is complete.

Gate admission is $7 each evening and wristbands will be available today from 5 p.m. until close for $20. Ticket sales begin at 4:30, with gates set to open at 5 p.m.
