Eusebio Castillo, 42, of El Dorado, AR, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. Profession­al care entrusted to Andrews Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.

OBITUARIES EARTIS LEE BERRY

Eartis Lee Berry was born October 5, 1951, to James Terry Sr. and Mattie Bell Rodgers in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Eartis was a father and a friend to many he had a warm, welcoming smile and was an inspiratio­n to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Terry Sr. and Mattie Bell Rodgers, brothers Charles R. Walker and Harold Lee Terry, and sisters Martesa Turner and Tanter Berry.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Soraya Berry of Oakland, Ca.

He is survived by four brothers: Oscar Berry of El Dorado, AR. Allen Berry Of Camden, AR, Tyrone Berry of El Dorado, AR. Dewey Rodgers (Connie) of El Dorado, AR. Three sisters Linda R. GWEN ELLEN ODOM

Gwen Ellen Odom of Hensley, Arkansas, formerly of Norphlet, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022. Gwen was born January 18, 1953 in El Dorado to Dale Wiley Odom and Helen Armstrong Odom.

Gwen’s greatest joy was her faith in God and studying His word, which she knew well. Her many talents were sewing, singing and cooking. In past years she was one of the seamstress­es for Hillary Clinton’s inaugurati­on wardrobe when her husband was elected President. She had also been a past costume designer and creator for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

She had the opportunit­y to sing in one of their production­s and talked about this for years. Gwen thrived when being a part of her church choir and directing the children’s choir while living in Springdale, AR. She was part of a quartet where she sang alto – her voice was beautiful and strong.

Gwen was preceded in death by her Mother, Helen Armstrong Odom. Survivors include her Father, Dale Odom of Norphlet, a brother – Darrel Odom and his wife Debbie of Little Rock, a sister – Karen McLemore and her husband John Paul of League City, Texas, a sister – Diane Marks of Norphlet. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews eleven great nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Gwen always looked forward to the “Odom Cousin Reunion” that is held annually every October where there is anywhere from 40 to 60 in attendance. She will certainly be missed by all. Gwen had made it known through the years that when something happened to her, she wanted only a private family service and the family will honor these wishes. This private service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Norphlet, 201 S. KEITH ANTHONY WALLER

On November 21, 1988, a beautiful baby girl named Niki Nicole Waller was born to Kenneth Wayne Waller and Carolyn Loueaser Porchia Waller; three years later, two beautiful babies came along named Keitha Antoinette Waller and Keith Anthony Waller.

On June 14, 2022, Keith’s journey ended in North Little Rock, AR. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Waller; maternal grandparen­ts, Dr. E.A. Porchia and Mamie J.

Porchia; paternal grandparen­ts, L.J. Waller and Rita Waller; two aunts, Verdia Porchia Anderson and Naomi Porchia Johnson; two uncles, Glenn Waller and James Waller.

He is survived by his three children, Kaiden Waller, Kaliyah Waller, and Kyson Thomas; his mother, Carolyn Porchia Waller; two sisters, Niki Waller and Keitha Waller; one half-brother, Kenneth L. Waller; two nephews, Jeremiah D. King and Kashten D. Malone; several aunts and uncles; a host of relatives and friends; and a special friend, Tiffany Fields.

Public Visitation Friday June 24, 2022 1-4pm at Sims Mortuary. Family Hour June 24, 2022 6-7pm at Morning Star Baptist Church #2. Sister Naeomi Washington Meadows was the oldest daughter of ten children.

Sister Naeomi Washington Meadows As a young lady, she married Thaddis Richard Sr, and she had two sons from this union.

Sister Naeomi Washington Meadows is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Meadows, and four brothers, Theodis, George, Eddie Lee, and Herman Washington. Three sisters, Francis Washington, Eunice Shaw, and Jearlean Preston.

Sister Naeomi Washington Meadows leaves to cherish her memories to her two sons Thaddis Richard II (Glenda) of El Dorado, AR and Freddie Richard of Strong, AR, A brother Garland Washington Jr (Shirley) of East Chicago, IN. and a sister Vivian Gatewood of Santa Maria, CA. 9 grandchild­ren. Twenty-seven great-grandchild­ren and nine great-great-grandchild­ren. And a host of family and friends.
