LESLIE MURRAY CHANDLER
Leslie Murray Chandler, 80, of El Dorado, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals in West Monroe, LA.
Born November 18, 1942 in Thornton, AR, Les was the son of Leslie Ryder and Jennie May Seymore Chandler.
Les was the owner of Les Chandler Agency, LLC since 1964 and was a member of Soul’s Chapel Church of Christ. He had served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a longtime member of the El Dorado Civitan Club, serving as President and on other committees.
Preceding him in death along with his parents, were his wife, Cheryl Chandler, brothers; Cleo Chandler and Kenneth Chandler and sisters: Margaret Standridge and Essie Jones.
Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Moran (Brandan) of El Dorado; brother, Eddie Chandler (Debbie) of Piney Flats, TN and a sister, Perla Shelton (Johnny) of Sherwood, AR and grandchildren, Cooper Loucks and Landry Loucks both of Richmond, TX.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Tommy Bennett officiating. Interment will follow with U.S. Marine Honors in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
