Melba Henry Beck, 101, of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at her residence.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., today, at The Pentecostals of El Dorado with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Fout officiating. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Marion Stewart Hicks, age 74, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his home in Heber Springs, AR.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am, today at Smackover Cemetery.

Charles H. Lehwald, 87, of Magnolia, formerly of El Dorado, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

OBITUARIES MARY LOUISE JONES
Mary Louise Jones, 78, of El Dorado, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday February 9, 2023.
Mary worked for Smackover State Bank until her retirement in 2016. She may have been small in stature but she was a giant warrior for Christ on this earth until
9:00 a.m. Thursday when she passed over to her eternal home in Heaven.
Mary was known as Mimi to many but especially to her family and friends.
She loved serving alongside her family and church family at One Community
Church in El Dorado. She founded the prayer team at OCC and met with the other prayer warriors weekly to pray for the needs of her church, the leaders, the members and the surrounding community. Many prayers have been answered due to their time spent in that “war room.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Roy Collins, her beloved husband, Tommy Jones, and her sister, Tommie Sutherlin.
If you knew Mary you know the deep love she carried for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with her sisters, brother and their children. Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Tina Louise Ferrel and husband, Gary of Waco, TX; one son, Joseph Thomas “Joey” Jones and wife Angie of El Dorado, AR. Mary is also survived by three grandchildren; Keasha Ferrel Alexander and husband Dustin, Cody Jones and wife Kayla, Dallas Ferrel and wife Sarah; and seven great grandchildren, Olivia Noelle Alexander-Age 8, Sadie Elizabeth AlexanderAge 5, Finn Thomas Alexander-Age 5, Kross Allen Jones-Age 5, Fiona Ann Ferrel-Age 4 and Cole Alan Alexander-Age 1.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Smackover with Pastor Jason Yarbrough officiating. Interment will be in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR
