SAMUEL “SAM” TODD WOOD
Samuel “Sam” Todd Wood, 16, of Lillie, LA passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.
Samuel was born January 5, 2007 in Ruston, LA to Todd and Jennifer Wood.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sammy
Lee Wood and Tressie Mae Wood, and his aunt, Toni Wood.
Samuel was a student at Junction City High School. He had many interests and loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, mud riding, boating, and spending time with his cousins and friends.
Samuel enjoyed working on motorcycles, atvs, jeeps and 4 wheel drives and was in his element when he was outside. He was unable to live a full life but lived every day to the best.
In addition to his parents, Samuel is survived by his siblings, Hannah Bright, Holly Hudson and husband Josh, Charles Wayne Hays and wife Jessica, his maternal grandparents, Linda Caldwell and Tommy McDonald, his paternal grandmother, Wanda Wood, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members who all loved him dearly.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Farris officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City, AR
