Registration

All returning students are automatically registered. Parents of a student not returning to Parkers Chapel Elementary should call 870862-4641, ext. 130 to notify the office of their moving plans.

Parents of new students to the district will need to stop by the elementary office Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. to complete registration paperwork.

Open House Orientation

Parkers Chapel Elementary will host its annual “Open House” on Tuesday, August 8 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Grade-level meetings will be held in the auditorium following the listed schedule: 4:40 - 5:00 p.m.: 4th Grade

5:10 - 5:30 p.m.: 3rd Grade

5:40 - 6:00 p.m.: 2nd Grade

6:10 - 6:30 p.m.: 1st Grade

6:40 - 7:00 p.m.: Kindergarten

Mrs. Kristi and Ms. Brooke’s PC Pre-K will be “come and go” from 5 - 7 p.m.

Mrs. Tara and Mrs. Melissa’s ABC (Co-op Pre-K) will contact parents with their Open House date and time.

Parents will need to visit their child’s classroom before or after the grade-level meeting to complete the required paperwork for enrollment.

Parents are encouraged to bring their child’s school supplies to “Open House” and leave them with the teacher so the student does not have to carry everything to school on the first day.

Tables will be located in the hallways where parents will need to stop and pay their Supply Fees the night of Open House. The fees for each grade level are listed on the school supply list.

School schedule

The first day of school will be Monday, August 14. Buses run from 6:45 - 7:20 a.m. All buses arrive on campus by 7:20 a.m.

Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:25 - 7:40 a.m. for the elementary students that choose to purchase breakfast at school. The elementary car line starts at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 7:44 a.m. The doors are locked at 7:45 a.m. and students may not enter the building without being checked in at the office by a parent. The car line will begin loading at 2:55 p.m. and the buses will load at 3:05 p.m.

New staff

Parkers Chapel Elementary had one teacher, Mrs. Lucretia Hargett, retire at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. Her position was filled from within our current staff. There were no certified positions to be filled this year.
