Volume 3 of the critically acclaimed docuseries “Untold” continues to pull back the curtain on the sports world when its newest installment, “Swamp Kings,” premieres on Netflix,Tuesday,Aug. 22.This documentary heads down to Florida — where college football is life — to dig deeper into the story of the University of Florida Gators football team and its extraordinary return to victory.After achieving incredible success under coach Steve Spurrier in the 1990s, the Gators had found themselves in another lull by 2005.Taking on Urban Meyer and his take-no-prisoners style as head coach, the team — including future NFL stars Brandon Siler, Tim Tebow, Brandon Spikes, Major Wright and Ahmad Black, among many others — rose to claim a string of legendary victories between 2005 and 2010.Through extensive interviews and archival footage, “Swamp Kings” gives viewers an inside look at how the Gators went from underdogs to two-time BCS National Championship winners, “drilling down with a riveting playby-play of some of the Gators’ most blistering wins and losses ...
