Every since the pilgrims first stepped ashore, Americans have owned guns. Then with the passage of the “Intolerable Acts” in 1774-1775, that England tried to enforce with a small army, an attempt to disarm the American public resulted in the battles of Lexington and Concorde and the Revolution. The Bill of Rights was considered to be “God Given” rights to every human. The second amendment was not written by hunters, but by men who had over thrown tyranny and the biggest military in the world at that time!

It has been said that other countries don’t have guns and have lower murder rates. They also don’t have the American Constitution giving them freedom of speech, religion or any of our other freedoms. In 98% of all mass shootings in America happen in gun free Democrat run cities and states!

There are approximately, eight million members of the NRA. That’s more people than the entire American military. More than fifteen million hunting licenses were issued last year. Not every gun owner hunts or joins the NRA. As of 2020, it was estimated that 44% of Americans own guns.

The un-natural fear of inanimate objects, notably firearms, is known as Hoplophobia. However, Democrats fear guns for a different reason. One wonders what they have planned that they think they will get shot far! People don’t own an AR-15 for hunting though some do. We own them for the same reason the Revolutionary army owned the same guns the British army had. To overthrow tyranny! And for any idiot to say, “We have F-16’s and atomic bombs”, I ask how did that work in Vietnam or Afghanistan?
