REMINDER OF SERVICE JUNE KATHLEEN MORRISON MOUDY

June Kathleen Morrison Moudy of El Dorado, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 89 on March 11, 2024.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12th at Young’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 13th at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church, burial immediatel­y following at Arlington Cemetery. Bro. Clark Whitney will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child.

FULL OBITUARIES CARA JEANE LANGSTON (MRS.YOUNG)

Cara Jeane Langston (Mrs.Young) was born in Conroe, Texas September 15, 1936 to her beloved parents Mildred and Carl W Langston. Her early childhood was spent in Texas, Southern Arkansas, and Southern Illinois. Returning to Louann, Arkansas in 1944.

She attended Southern State College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree and later her Master’s Degree. Jeane taught in Albuquerqu­e, N.M. and South Arkansas as an elementary teacher and later as a school counselor K-12. During those thirty years she was married and divorced after which she retired to Smackover, AR and passed away February 25, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Scott Edward Young, brothers, Bobby Carlton Langston and Edward Lynn Langston.

Jeane is survived by her sister, Conni L. Parker (Tim), nephews Christophe­r D. Webb (Tela), Jason Langston (Cindy), and Josh Parker (Sarah), nieces Lori L. Owens (Wayne), and Brandi Parker (Megann). Great nieces Ashley Palmer-Lieto (Angie), Sophie Webb and Ellea Parker-McManus. Great nephews Landon Langston, Spencer Langston, Harrison Langston and Julian Parker. Great, great niece and nephew Olivia and Owen Palmer-Lieto.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Liberty Methodist Church, Louann, Arkansas. Cremation arrangemen­ts are entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.

HORATIO T. “TOMMY” PRATT, JR

Horatio T. “Tommy” Pratt, Jr., 86, of Smackover, AR passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.

Tommy was born November 29, 1937 in Strong, AR to the union of Horatio T. Pratt, Sr. and Effie Simpson Pratt

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Ann Pratt, son, Christophe­r Tommy Pratt, brother, Wilson Pratt, four sisters, Naomi Pratt, Sybil Harper, Ruth Gardner, Albertine Harrison.

Tommy retired from Columbian Chemical and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his son, Benjamin Pratt, two granddaugh­ters, Kristan Pratt, and Alauna Norton, and five great grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Bailey Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mike Meadows officiatin­g. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
