Calipari visits El Dorado as part of One Razorback Roadshow

The ONE Razorback Roadshow, presented by First Security Bank, is once again fueled up to travel across the great state of Arkansas connecting and interactin­g with Razorback fans of all ages beginning on May 13.

A press releaste states. “The four-day bus tour will feature Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek and other members of Razorback Athletics, including coaches, spirit squads and band members along with Big Red. The ONE Razorback Roadshow is a part of Razorback Athletics’ ongoing commitment to be involved in communitie­s across Arkansas while celebratin­g the passion and support of the Razorbacks throughout the state.

“Roadshow events include free, public receptions where fans can gather to hear from members of Razorback Athletics while also enjoying compliment­ary appetizers and beverages. Photo opportunit­ies with the Razorback spirit squads and Big Red as well as other Razorback giveaways will be available.”

Fans had the opportunit­y to enter to win special prizes, including compliment­ary game tickets, sideline passes to games, autographe­d items and special experience­s. Various trophies will also be on display showcasing some of the great Razorback moments from this past year.

New this year at each stop, an official Razorback Road sign was presented to community leaders as an opportunit­y to name a street in their city to showcase Razorback pride and spirit.

Jon Williams, the public announcer for Razorback Women’s Basketball and Razorback Baseball, along with Matt Zimmerman, the color analyst for Razorback Men’s Basketball radio broadcasts and the co-host of the Razorback Daily podcast, emceed for the events.

Evening events toook place in Jonesboro (May 13), Little Rock (May 14), El Dorado (May 15) and Fort Smith (May 16). Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a program beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Hogs coach John Calipari visited El Dorado and MAD posted on facebook stating, “WPS! Thank you Razorback Roadshow for coming to El Dorado this evening!”
