Christians support Trump? It makes perfect sense

After admonishing Christians with the usual, “Love your enemies,” Georgianna Summers (March 5) asked “How can Christians support Donald Trump?” We can support Donald Trump because nobody in their right mind would “support” their enemies.

These words of Christ are appropriate for today. “You hypocrites! You know how to judge the face of the sky and of the earth (climate change); but how is it you do not judge this time?

Why even of yourselves do you not judge what is right? (Luke 12: 54-57) Christians have concern about the mental health of humanity that exists on earth. This nation is beset with hate, viciousness, and poisonous speech.

Democrats relentlessly attack President Donald Trump — not because of who he is — but because Christians have adopted and placed their trust in him. Democrats are desperate to monopolize government and fear new justices on the Supreme Court will rule against abortion, which has already produced hateful threats against two Supreme Court Justices.

Killing is, and always will be, an act of domination that victimizes. True Christians despise the law that makes victims of children by targeting them for death while in the womb. We have rejected abortion and given our children birth. After 47 years, this is becoming a nation of survivors. Why would we place the well-being and lives of children and grandchildren into the same manipulative hands that targeted them for death before birth? I repeat — nobody in their right mind would support their enemies.
