Day takes the bacon

- Ed Anderson

The Butte Creek Senior Men’s Club held a gross/net skins game for its monthly tournament.

Jeff Day took home the lion’s share of the payout, winning two of the only three net skins and one gross skin. There were a total of 9 gross skins.

Those players winning gross skins were: Pat Hallin and Greg Martin, 2 skins each; Mark Blofsky, Jeff Day, Paul Ellcessor,

Ron Mossbarger and Jim Scarff, 1 skin each. Net skins: Day, 2 skins; Greg Johnson, 1 skin. Just to keep the IRS informed, the gross skins were worth $23.33 each of golf shop credit, and the net skins were worth $70 each. I’m sure Day will find something nice for his wife, Patty, in the golf shop with his significant stipend … just saying.
