Trump’s win wasn’t called ‘legitimate’ either
Regarding Mark Gailey’s criticism of my letter published November 19 —
1) It is not my “questionable claim” more Democrats have denied Trump’s election was legitimate than people who claim Biden’s wasn’t. This fact was elucidated by two separate polls taken by The Washington Post. Mr. Gailey can enter “more democrats denied trump won” into a search engine look and up these polls for himself.
2) What ever links may have been found between Russia and Trump’s campaign, Mueller’s investigation concluded they “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
Yet collusion with Russia is precisely the hoax Democrats perpetrated in an attempt to damage Trump’s 2016 campaign. Moreover, for three years House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff flat out lied about Russian collusion while mainstream corporate media pushed his lies despite evidence to the contrary.
3) Despite the outcome, House Democrats did, in fact, object to electoral votes in 2017.
4) Despite Hillary Clinton’s concession, less than a year later, she dismissed Trump’s election as illegitimate.
5) To reiterate, where were all the letters of outrage from Democrats over the Inauguration Day 2017 riots? Riots that Democrats themselves fomented and engaged in. Where were their fears about democracy when they refused to accept election results?
I have never thought either election was illegitimate, but it would not surprise me at all if Mr. Gailey believes Trump’s election was fraudulent.
