Stolen items recovered in Tehama County
Glenn County law enforcement recovered items from five separate burglaries, some linked to Tehama County.
Detectives from the Glenn Investigations and Narcotics Task Force on Feb. 21 served a search warrant at a storage facility located in Tehama County, resulting in locating stolen property from five separate burglaries within Glenn County, according to a press release issued Feb. 25 by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives contacted the multiple victims of these incidents, and they were able to identify and release dozens of stolen items to their rightful owners.
The release said that Glenn County law enforcement investigated the recent increase in residential and agricultural burglaries, which began around the beginning of the year.
Earlier in February, Glenn County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives from the investigations and narcotics task force had investigated a burglary that resulted in an arrest and recovery of stolen items.
Deputies conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle reported as associated with a burglary within Tehama County. The investigation was turned over to the investigations and narcotics task force and items from the car had been linked to two burglary cases, one from Glenn County and the other from Tehama County.
The cases led detectives to obtain a search warrant for the storage facility located in Tehama County, the release said. The following days after the search warrant service, detectives were able to locate and return more stolen property back to the owners.
