ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jennifer Williams, PhD, is the founder and president of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society in College Station, Texas, and the author of the book How to Start a Rescue. Williams received her bachelor of science in psychology from Truman State University, formerly known as Northeast Missouri State University. Later, Williams earned her master’s and doctorate in animal science from Texas A&M, where she focused her studies on equine behavior, learning and welfare.
