Giving thanks

I thoroughly enjoyed “In Gratitude””

(Back Page, EQUUS 456). Whenever

I spend time with my horse, Magic,

whether it’s trail riding, lessons,

groundwork or just hanging out to-

gether, I always pat him and say, “Thanknk

you.” I’m almost 70 years old and we

have been together 12½ years. He is my

first and only horse, and he has been so
